Hydrocodone bitartrate is an antitussive and opioid analgesic found as fine white crystals or crystalline powder. It gets affected due to light. The chemical name of vicodin is 4, 5a-epoxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one tartrate (1:1) hydrate (2:5).
Acetaminophen, 4'-hydroxyacetanilide, is antipyretic and nonopiate nonsalicylate analgesic white and odorless crystalline powder and having slightly the bitter taste. Warning : Vicodin content named hydrocodone bitartrate can be habbit forming.
