Ultram Vicodin

Ultram is used for relieving the pain same as that of narcotic.

Ultram is used for treating the pain same as Darvocet. It is also used as a medication guide. If you are addicted to alcohol or drug then also should not take the Ultram.

In some people, seizure has occurred due to intake of Ultram. If you suffering from metabolic disorder or head injury, or taken some medication such as muscle relaxer, antidepressants or medicine for vomiting or nausea with the Ultram then also seizure occurs.

Take Ultram in proper quantity as it was suggested by the physician. Do not take extra dosage & more than 300 mg pre day. If you take it in large quantity than prescribed then immediately take medical help. Ultram overdose symptoms may include shallow breathing, drowsiness, extreme weakness, slow heartbeat, clammy or cold skin, fainting, coma or feeling light-headed.

Precautions before taking Ultram:

Do not take Ultram even if you are addicted to alcohol or drug or recently used any of the following drugs:

  • Alcohol
  • Sedatives or tranquilizers
  • Narcotic pain medicine
  • Medicine for mental illness
  • Medicine for depression or anxiety
  • Street drugs

Seizures can occur in many people. Risk of seizure is higher in following conditions:

  • A history of drug or alcohol addiction;
  • A history of head injury;
  • A history of epilepsy or other seizure disorder;
  • A metabolic disorder; or
  • If you are also taking muscle relaxer, antidepressant, or medicine for vomiting or nausea.

If you have some allergies then tell to your doctor before taking Ultram. The allergies such as:

  • Kidney disease;
  • A stomach disorder
  • Liver disease;
  • A history of mental illness, depression, or the suicide attempt.

If you suffered from any of these condition then need some does adjustment or any special test for safely intake of Ultram.

In case of pregnancy category C, Ultram can be dangerous to an unborn baby. Also causes side effects to the new born baby if mother uses these drugs at the time of pregnancy or labor. Ultran can pass in the breast milk and dangerous for nursing baby. Ultran must be given to child having age greater than 18 years.
